Our chief concern in the youth program is to instill a faith that will last a lifetime through an emphasized focus on the truths of God's word. Thus, personal discipleship is the foundation of this ministry. However, our secondary priority is to empower youth to share their faith in a highly secularized world. This emphasis is expressed in Matthew 28:18–20.

FMC youth ministry exists to supplement and complement the spiritual teaching and influence taking place in the home through parents. We believe parents are designed by God to be the primary influencers raising their children in the knowledge and fear of the Lord. We further believe that it is the responsibility of the youth staff to come alongside parents and provide secondary teaching and biblical exhortation. As a team striving for the same goal, our desire is to facilitate growth and character in the next generation (Ephesians 6:1–4; Deuteronomy 6:6-9; Hebrews 12:7–11; Proverbs 1:8–9).

Each month, youth get together for at least one special event. Events may include game nights, outreach opportunities, week-long camps, or overnight experiences.
